ReplyDeletewow. I love this.
ReplyDeleteKid's are the best test subjects, they are always so curious and willing to help. It looks like you two have a lot of fun together. Having a great bond with your child is extremly important. I don't know what I would do anymore without my daughter. The lighting effect that you created in this video was really cool, the shadows and contrast... I like it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a doll!
ReplyDeleteyou're both the lucky ones to have one another. so like this too. the look and grit and the slow-mo and fastfast.
ReplyDeleteyour little whatevers make me smile every time.
Quality father-son time and an awesome choice of song.
ReplyDeletehes so adorable. :]
ReplyDeleteit's great to see a father express so openly his love for his son.
ReplyDeletechildren are truly sponges with an imagination. my son practices shaolin because i do, he listens to music that i like, he watches the shows that i watch and he plays the games that i play. if i sin, he will undoubtedly be a sinner. if i prevail he will be nothing less than king. it is a gift to part of the miracle of life.
ReplyDeleteSo...I can't say anything that hasn't already been said but, I like it! Little man is a rock star!
ReplyDeletereally cute and good actor in a translunary short film.
ReplyDeletei love him, too. ;)
He is getting so big! Love it! mine is the same way with my photography, guinea pig for the lighting! how old is Mingus now? gavin is three going on 16. HA! he's becoming his own little artist and photographer. talk to you soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with grania. it really looks like a really cool project. and mingus a very cute and very cool lil guy as it seems - yep, as his father is. he seems to hav a a good self-esteem which is a very cool thing to hav esp as a child :)
ReplyDeleteIm sure Mingus loves doing those little projects with you...Those are special times together and he'll look back on them when he's older and realize how wonderful it is to have a dad like you. You two keep it up.. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute and thank goodness you had the sunglasses on hand! Great project!
ReplyDeletethis is too cute. what a good test subject. im sure he loved doing it for you.
ReplyDeletethis is super cool. i wish my dad was as cool as you are haha. he's pretty lucky to have you, and vice versa. i'd like to see some more of these, but maybe a bit more of you in the video next time please :) xo
ReplyDeleteSo much more to learn out in the world than sitting at a desk. You have the most unique "photo album" of your child I've ever seen and each of you is blessed to have the other. Mine is 4 and can do a full sales walk-thru happily while assembling his transformers. Rock on.
ReplyDeleteHow great is that!
ReplyDeleteJust saw that this was posted a year ago...
ReplyDeleteHey Norman, is it time for an update???

ReplyDeleteLike father like son. You are lucky to have eachother!
ReplyDeleteI love stumbling across old pictures from my photography class back in high school. There were only a few of us but it was nice to work with different exposures, lightning, photography tricks & developing. I'm sure Mingus loves to be your guinea pig, no matter how old he gets. You two seem to have a great bond.
ReplyDeleteIts great when ur kids support u & become part of ur artwork
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to your blog? Write often so we can read them :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter does the same for me. Different stuff, same willingness to please.
ReplyDeleteStart blogging again!! I find it very therapeutic. It also helps me with mind block. Maybe that's not an issue for you.
